MELT IT RIGHT:

The first time you light your candle, let it burn to the edge for an even burn.

• We recommend you burn it long enough to achieve a full melt pool every time you light it. So the wax on the top of the candle is melted right to the edges. This could take around 1-2 hours.
• If you do not allow the wax to melt to the edges you may notice the candle start to tunnel.

WHY DO WE USE CEDAR WICKS?

Our cedar wicks are made from 100% Natural wood from sustainably sourced Sappy Fruit Trees. Every wooden cedar wick is natural and unique so every candle burns a little different.

• Our wicks are sourced from fsc-certified mills (Forest Stewardship Council).
• Our wicks are created using a vegan, non-toxic proprietary adhesive with wood species not listed in the CITED appendices or on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. They are not treated.
• With wooden cedar wicks there’s no mushrooming, a little carbon buildup, debris or sooting.
• Wooden wicks create a tantalizing crackling sound when burning for added ambiance.

TRIM THE WICK?

You shouldn’t need to trim the wick, it should be self trimming as it burns. But if you find you want to trim, here are some tips:

• Trim the wick to roughly ¼”
• Using a lighter can work better than matches in some cases, so if you’re having issues getting your wick to light, give it a go.

HOLY SMOKES!

Under the right burning conditions your candles should be pretty much smoke free! Avoid placing your candle in the wrong place in your home. Somewhere with no draft and breeze is ideal.

We use 100% pure, natural scents in our hand poured candles. These scents are made using the highest quality natural plant materials, so it burns clean and smells amazing too.

ZERO WASTE:

We’re proud that our candles are zero waste products. The cedar wicks are made from waste materials sourced from fsc-certified mills (Forest Stewardship Council). The boxes our candles are packed in are recyclable and the ceramic vessel is designed to be reused once your candle is done!

REUSE YOUR CANDLE:

To reuse your candle vessel simply boil some water, put the vessel into the boiled water to let remaining wax melt. Then use a paper towel to wipe out remaining wax. Finally clean the vessel with warm water and soap or run it through the dishwasher.

SAFETY FIRST:

• Never leave a burning candle unattended
• Place candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from anything flammable
• Do not burn candles in a draft
• Keep candles out of reach of children and pets
